I found out today that Warner Bros is filming a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street. Aside from being a cool movie, they are filming part of it at my school. Next week for three days (ETA: For some reason I thought May 4 was next week. I meant in two weeks.) they're going to be filming! How awesome will that be?! And they're casting a bunch of students as extras! Unfortunately, I can't be an extra because you have to be sixteen by May 1. I turn sixteen on May 15. *glare* Oh well, it's not like I would have made it anyway. But they're paying the extras $25. That seems a bit ridiculous to me. Why would you pay them at all? I'm sure almost everyone in the school would do it for free. It's a school full of high school students who would die to get their face in the movies! Hell, I bet half the students would pay the filmmakers!
I am rather annoyed that they'll be filming during school hours, though, because some of us - myself included - won't be able to go to our lockers for at least one day. Hopefully my friends will be nice and let me use their lockers instead of making me carry around all my books ALL DAY.
And I just checked the IMDB page for the movie, and it says filming begins May 5. WRONG! It begins May 4! I cannot believe that I have inside information about a movie that IMDB doesn't! *laughs hysterically*
It feels weird because I usually don't care at all about actors and movies, but it's actually really exciting! I mean, this is a pretty unusual thing!
