My Wedding Ring
So this is my class wedding ring! We get to design it, choosing pictures, so I made it Remus/Sirius themed. The pictures are very crappy because they were taken using a cell phone, so I'm sorry about that!

Moony

The text at the top says, "Moony," and it has the Islamic symbol of a moon and a star. I'm not Muslim, but the moon and star obviously represents Remus and Sirius.

Padfoot

The text on this side says, "Padfoot," and has my school mascot on it. My school mascot is a huskie. Not a husky, which is the proper spelling, but HUSKIE. Which is apparently okay because "it's a proper noun." Which is so stupid. If our mascot were some random creature called a huskie, that would make sense, but our mascot is an ACTUAL husky. But anyway, that's obviously supposed to represent Sirius's animagus form!

Now [info]matt_writer, you need to get a matching one!

Hey, this is actually really nice! I like your design!

Now [info]matt_writer, you need to get a matching one!
Well, my dad lost his wedding ring years and years ago, because my little sister threw it in the garbage, no jokes. So as I don't have one, we can pretend that Josh threw mine in the garbage, and all's well realistic that ends realistically. :D

I'm glad someone does. My mom almost threw a fit when she saw the order form!

my little sister threw it in the garbage
How did she do that?

How dare Josh! I will have to yell at him at school on Monday!

Why? It's so pretty!

Well, she threw it when she was still a toddler. She liked playing with my dad's ring and, one day when he wasn't looking . . . bye-bye.

Okay, you do that. Honestly though, I don't care -- rings are for wangsters. (That's "wannabe gangster," not *wangst*er. XD)

It's so pretty!
*nods* I know! And I don't think I mentioned it in the post, but the stone has this engraved-ish picture of a pawprint. It's not actually engraved... It's like... in the stone. If that makes any sense.

Honestly though, I don't care
Because I really do. I am so angry that Josh fictionally threw away your fictional wedding ring.

/sarcasm.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. Sounds good. :]

Why the sarcasm? You're a girl! You're expected to be angry for something like that! Otherwise there's no more reasons for me being gay

Question: Would it be "me being gay" or "my being gay" -- or something altogether different?
Crystal[info]potterfreak0515 on April 13th, 2009 11:49 pm (UTC)
It's "my being gay." You should always use the possessive with gerunds. (I think that's a gerund... I just woke up, so forgive me if I'm wrong.) A lot of people use the objective pronoun (me, him, them, etc.), though.

Oh, my mistake! I'm sorry! Let me try again. HOW DARE JOSH! HE IS GETTING GROUNDED FOR FOUR MONTHS! NO INTERNET! NO TV! NO HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS! AND HOW DARE YOU FOR LETTING HIM PLAY WITH YOUR RING LIKE THAT! THE RING IS A SYMBOL OF OUR DEVOTION TO EACH OTHER, AND YOU SHOW SUCH DISRESECT TO OUR RELATIONSHIP!

Ah, thank you. On both counts.

But since when does Josh have friends?
Crystal[info]potterfreak0515 on April 14th, 2009 12:03 am (UTC)
Actually, Josh has tons of friends. He can be quite social.

I don't know where we went wrong in raising him! *cry*

We should go and cut all his friends' throats, or burn their houses or something. Let's force him into doing things properly!
Crystal[info]potterfreak0515 on April 14th, 2009 12:16 am (UTC)
No wonder your mom thinks you're going to be a serial killer.

YEAH! *grabs torch and a passing angry mob*

A-actually. He wants me to go to a party for the Day of Silence/Night of Noise on Friday. Parties are scary! They're full of loud people I don't know!
being a rebel by not doing his art homework: captain[info]matt_writer on April 14th, 2009 12:19 am (UTC)
Don't go! Burn him too, if you must! And the entire party! It can be a suicide burning!
Crystal[info]potterfreak0515 on April 14th, 2009 12:22 am (UTC)
But I don't want to die! Or commit murder!
being a rebel by not doing his art homework: fucking amazing[info]matt_writer on April 14th, 2009 12:24 am (UTC)
I guarantee, both are more fun than they sound! It's a life experience, it is.

It's all right. I'm safe in Canada. They won't get me. They'll freeze to death first! Mwahaha . . .

Damn, you cunning bastard! I forgot to warn them!
